My two main interests.
My big interests are cycling and an Opel car I am building.
I stopped competitive cycling about 9 years ago, having been at it since I was 15, but I follow the local clubs, Dromara CC, Banbridge CC and West Down Wheelers. Sky show races from all over the world and watch I as many as possible, great colour spectacles, which I'd love to photograph.
After I stopped racing bikes, I started a project that had been in my mind from the early 80s, and started to build a hybrid of the Opel Ascona and Manta cars, which I call an Ascanta, for some not too serious motorsport. I had seen one built in the Netherlands and always thought that Opel should have built them officially. The one in the Netherlands was rallied in Rothmans colours.
